Wayne, NJ (October 18, 2012) – William Paterson University scored twice in each half and the DeSales University field hockey team was shutout for the fourth time this season as the Bulldogs dropped its 10th straight game, 4-0, at WPU on Thursday evening.

The Pioneers (6-10) took a 1-0 lead at 13:46 and made it 2-0 just 1:30 later on two goals from Jessica Nendze.  The game remained a two-goal contest into the 46th minute when Brianne Cox scored for Paterson and McKenna Reynolds provided the exclamation point with the fourth tally with just 24 seconds left in the game.

Senior Victoria DelToro made four saves in the loss.

The Bulldogs will look to get back in the win column on Saturday when they host Wilkes University in a Freedom Conference game beginning at 12:00 pm.
