Limeport, PA (April 17, 2012) – In the annual “Under the Lights” between local rivals Moravian College and DeSales University, the Greyhounds scored three times in the third inning and four more times in the fifth inning to break open a close game, in an 11-1 win over the Bulldogs in non-conference action on another gorgeous day on Tuesday evening.

Trailing 4-1 in the bottom of the fourth inning, DeSales (21-11) had a chance to get back into the game with bases loaded and two outs, but junior Justin Scerbo went down swinging to end the threat and the Greyhounds (23-13) scored four two-out runs in the fifth inning to take an 8-1 lead and never looked back.

Senior Jason Hadinger knocked in the Bulldogs lone run, singling home senior Ethan Moser in the fourth inning.  Freshman Jonathan Bujtas took the loss allowing four runs (three earned) over three innings pitched.

DeSales returns to action tomorrow, playing its third game in as many days, traveling to Ursinus College for a non-conference game beginning at 4:00 pm.
