	Center Valley, PA (April 27, 2012) – Junior 
Colby Pacillo earned his fifth win of the season allowing just five hits and one run over seven innings leading the DeSales University baseball team to a 5-4 win over Manhattanville College in the first of three games this weekend between the two Freedom Conference teams to close out the regular season conference schedule.
	
	Pacillo pitched out of trouble in the first and second innings allowing just one run before settling down to only allow two more runners to reach second base over his next five innings.  Freshman 
Tyler Harris pitched into the ninth inning and freshman 
Trevor Connors earned his fifth save of the season, getting the final out of the game on a line out to shortstop.
	
	DSU (26-11, 16-3 Freedom) took a 4-1 lead after two on a sacrifice fly from junior 
Derek Chrismer in the first inning, a bases loaded walk by senior 
Ethan Moser in the second inning, and a two-RBI single from junior 
Brian Mauro also in the second inning.  The Bulldogs scored those four runs on just two hits and six Valiant (14-18, 8-11 Freedom) walks.  Chrismer knocked in another run in the fifth on an RBI double down the left-field line.
	
	Pacillo struck out five in the win and lowered his season ERA to 2.96 for the year with 41 K's in 48.2 innings pitched.  Chrismer and freshman 
Drew Borger each had two hits, while the Bulldogs stole five bases including two by senior 
Kenny Ridge, giving him 14 on the season.
	
	These two teams take the field once again tomorrow afternoon in a Freedom Conference doubleheader in Purchase, NY with first pitch in game one set for 1:00 pm.
