Center Valley, PA (September 13, 2012) – Seven different players scored a goal including sophomore goalkeeper
Michelle Churchman as the DeSales University women's soccer team rolled past Cairn University, 8-0, for the Bulldogs second win by eight goals this season.
DSU (3-2-1) out-shot Cairn, 32-1, and the combination of senior

Taylor Cowan did not need to make a save in the shutout win.
Junior
Lydia Younger started the scoring 5:51 into the game, taking a pass inside the box from sophomore
Megan Strauser and firing a shot into the far corner for her first goal of the season.
Strauser then scored two straight goals, including the second off a feed from junior

Alyssa Brandt finished off the first-half scoring with an unassisted goal from about 25-yards out just 56 seconds after Koren's.
In the second half, sophomore
Alyssa Borgesi scored with a shot over the goalkeeper's head, senior
Alyssa deQuintal tallied her first of the season on a feed from junior
Christina Quinn, and Churchman got on the board tapping in a centering pass from Younger with just under five minutes left to produce the final tally.
DSU returns to action on Saturday when they host Drew University in a non-conference game beginning at 1:00 pm.
