Reading, PA (September 19, 2012) – The DeSales University women's soccer team rallied from a 1-0 deficit mid-way thru the first half to tie the game at one, but was unable to find the back of the net again as Albright College scored twice in the second half to post a 3-1 win over the Bulldogs on Wednesday evening.

DSU knotted the score at one just 2:53 after the Lions had taken a 1-0 lead on sophomore Emily DeOliveira's first goal of the season off a free kick from fellow sophomore Alyssa Borgesi.  That score stood into the half as Albright enjoyed a slim 8-5 in shots in the opening half.

Albright took control in the second half out-shooting DeSales, 8-2, and scoring the eventual game-winner in the 66th minute as Steph Pryzbyszewski scored twice in the second half to lift the Lions to the win.

Freshman Taylor Cowan made six saves for the Bulldogs in the loss.

DSU returns to action on Saturday when they travel back to Reading, PA to take on Alvernia University in another non-conference game beginning at 1:30 pm.
