Center Valley, PA (November 23, 2013) – Junior Alex Suk recorded her second double-double of the season with 17 points and 11 rebounds leading the Bulldogs to their fourth straight win and 13th straight at home, 89-64, over Immaculata University on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs shot well once again, converting 46.8 percent from the field, in the win.  Suk was joined in double figures by senior Sondrine Glovas with 16 points, three assists, and four steals and freshman Morgan McCollian with a season-high 12 points and five rebounds in just seven minutes of action.  Junior Ciara O'Neill dished out a season-high 10 assists for the Bulldogs.

IU was led by Sara Smith with 18 points and eight rebounds as the lone player in double digits.

DSU trailed early (7-6) before taking complete control of the game.  A 31-5 run over the span of 10 minutes gave DeSales a 37-12 lead, its largest of the half.  Suk led the charge with 10 points during the spurt, while Glovas and junior Mikelyn Mackavage added seven each.

The Mighty Macs did respond closing out the half on a 16-6 run to cut the deficit down to 14 points (46-32) at the break.

The second-half started back and forth with the two teams trading baskets before the Bulldogs extended a 21-point lead to 32 points (85-53) with 5:06 left and never looked back from there.

The Bulldogs forced 22 Mighty MAC turnovers and had more assists (22) than turnovers (18) themselves.  DSU also dominated the glass, out-rebounding IU, 53-31, leading to 28 second-chance points.

DeSales got 42 of its 89 points from the bench led by McCollian's 12 and Mackavage and senior Julia Duffy with seven each.

The Bulldogs return to action on Tuesday when they host local rival Moravian College in a non-conference game beginning at 6:00 pm.
