Center Valley, PA (September 17, 2013) – The DeSales University field hockey team scored 11 goals on Tuesday evening in an 11-0 win over Cedar Crest College breaking the team record for both goals scored and assists recorded in a single game.
The Bulldogs (3-3) out-shot CCC (0-6) 47-10 for the game. DSU had a 7-0 lead at the break. The previous team record for goals in a game was nine, accomplished three times, and the previous record for assists was eight, done just once.

Alexa Beaumont each tallied two goals. Junior

Nicola McDermott each scored once.
McDermott added three assists, Marshall had two, while Harding, both Alyssa and junior
Alison Malatesta, and sophomore
Gianna Colella each had one assist.

Amanda Fisher totaled three saves to record the shutout.
DSU returns to action on Monday, September 23rd when they travel to Gwynedd-Mercy College for a non-conference game beginning at 4:00 pm.
