Center Valley, PA (October 1, 2014) – After a scoreless first-half by both teams the DeSales University field hockey team and Immaculata University combined for seven goals, five by the Bulldogs, in the second-half en route to a 5-2 win on Wednesday afternoon.

Just 3:04 later sophomore Alexa Beaumont scored tipping in an entry pass outside the circle by Harding and in the 50th minute freshman Tess Luzi made it 3-1 taking control of the ball in the circle from the Mighty Mac defense and sliding a shot just inside the far post for her third tally of the year.

Beaumont scored her second of the game just 30 seconds later sending home a centering pass in the middle of the circle from senior Alison Malatesta and after IU made it a 4-2 game, Harding scored her first goal of the season on a corner play with an assist from Alison Malatesta in the 60th minute.
