Center Valley, PA (October 11, 2014) – King's College scored twice in each half en route to a 4-0 win over the DeSales University men's soccer team in Freedom Conference action on a rainy Saturday afternoon.
Niall Croke started the scoring with a PK goal in the 20
th minute after a handball in the box and
Billy Brown scored his first of two goals in the game and his first two tallies of the season in the 40
th minute to make it a 2-0 game.
Chris Nygren and Brown each scored in the second-half to provide the final tally.
King's (9-4-1, 1-1 Freedom) out-shot DeSales (5-8-1, 0-2 Freedom), 19-14, while the Bulldogs had a 7-6 advantage in corner kicks.
Senior
Colin Sulpizio made five saves for the Bulldogs.
DSU is back in action on Tuesday when they host Manhattanville College in a Freedom Conference game beginning at 2:30 pm.
