Lisa Wallitsch recorded a double-double with 25 assists and 17 digs leading the DeSales University volleyball team past Wilkes University, 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-14), in Freedom Conference action on Wednesday evening in Billera Hall.
The Bulldogs cruised in the first-set opening up a 24-10 lead before settling for the 25-15 win but fell behind early in the second set. Wilkes took a 14-7 lead as DeSales used its first timeout. A service error sent the momentum back to DSU's side and the Bulldogs dominated out of the timeout winning 18 of the final 24 points to earn the 25-20 win and DeSales cruised in the third set to take the match.

Logan Wieziolowski each had eight kills and senior
Chrissy Banos and freshman
Sienna Heist each totaled seven kills. Wieziolowski added four blocks, while Banos and Blessing each had three blocks.
Senior
Amanda Wallitsch led the defense with 11 digs. DSU hit .299 as a team, including .462 in the third set win.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Widener University to take on the Pride and Neumann University in a tri-match.
