Aston, PA (November 1, 2014) – Senior 
Amanda Wallitsch totaled 56 digs on Saturday to become DSU's all-time leader in digs leading the DeSales University volleyball team to a tri-match split at Neumann University on Saturday afternoon. 
The Bulldogs (22-11 overall) dropped a tight three-setter to Richard Stockton College (26-6), 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-21) before topping host Neumann University (21-11), 3-1 (25-19, 22-25, 26-24, 25-23) on Saturday. 
Wallitsch had 21 digs in the loss to Stockton and tallied 35 digs in the win over Neumann to give her 2,102 career digs, four more than 
Kerri Andrews who had held the record with 2,098 career digs.  She is also just three digs shy of tying Andrews' single-season record of 657.
Sophomore 
Lisa Wallitsch also broke a record setting a new mark for assists in a season with 1,168, snapping the previous mark of 1,120 set by 
Sharon Uliana in 2007.  Senior 
Julie Blessing is just 25 attack attempts shy of breaking the single-season mark and freshman 
Logan Wieziolowski is 10 blocks assists of tying the single-season mark.
In the loss to Stockton, Blessing led the way with nine kills, senior 
Chrissy Banos added eight kills, and senior 
Brooke Horrigan finished with six kills and hit  a team-high .294.  L. Wallitsch totaled 31 assists and eight digs and A. Wallitsch had 21 digs.
In the Neumann win freshman 
Sienna Heist had 15 kills and two blocks, Blessing finished with 12 kills and two blocks, Horrigan added 12 kills and hit .458 for the match, and Banos and Wieziolowski each had three blocks.
L. Wallitsch finished with 42 assists and eight digs, A. Wallitsch had 35 digs, junior 
Lizzi Levis added 14 digs, and freshman 
Bernadette Wood finished with 12 digs in the win.
The Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday evening when they host Misericordia University in the Freedom Conference Tournament semifinals in Billera Hall beginning at 7:00 pm.
