Frostburg, MD (February 22, 2014) – The DeSales University men's lacrosse team dropped its 2014 season opener falling behind 5-0 early at Frostburg State before dropping a 12-3 decision in the first game for both teams on Saturday afternoon.
FSU (1-0) took a 2-0 lead after one quarter, scoring its second goal with just 46 seconds left in the opening quarter and tallied three goals over the first 5:31 of the second quarter before senior
James Guerrier got the Bulldogs (0-1) on the board with 7:41 left in the half.
The two teams went scoreless over the final 7:41 as the Bobcats enjoyed a 5-1 lead over the first 30 minutes of play cruised in the second-half to earn the season-opening win.

The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday, March 1st when they travel to Immaculata University for a non-conference game beginning at 1:00 pm.
