Ryan Dorosh fired a complete-game limiting the Bulldogs to six hits and striking out nine as Misericordia University salvaged the third game of the three-game set on Thursday afternoon between the two teams after DeSales had taken the first two to start the series on Sunday.
MU (8-6, 4-2 Freedom) opened the game with two runs on just one hit as a lead-off walk and hit batter came around to score for the Cougars.
It remained a 2-0 game entering the sixth inning when DSU (6-8, 5-1 Freedom) scratched back for a run when sophomore
Carrington Santana was hit by a pitch and later scored on a Cougar error to make it a 2-1 game.
The Cougars added two runs in the seventh and one more in the eighth to take a 5-1 lead and the Bulldogs never threatened in the final two innings.

Nick Fischer and junior
Drew Borger each had two hits in DSU's six-hit attack. Junior
Trevor Connors took the loss lasting 6.1 innings allowing seven hits and four runs, while striking out four.
DSU returns to the diamond tomorrow when they host Wilkes University in the first game of their three-game set at Butz Field beginning at 3:30 pm.
