Immaculata, PA (September 13, 2014) – Sophomore Alex Manzo scored his first career goal in the second overtime on Saturday afternoon leading the DeSales University men's soccer team past Immaculata University, 1-0.
 
Manzo knocked in the rebound of a saved shot off the foot of freshman Alan Smith in the 105^th minute to give the Bulldogs (2-3-1) the win.
 
It was DSU's second shutout win of the season as senior Colin Sulpizio made four saves in between the pipes.  The Bulldogs out-shot the Mighty Macs (0-4-1), 16-7, for the game, while IU had a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
 
DeSales returns to action on Tuesday when they travel to Gwynedd-Mercy College for another non-conference game beginning at 6:00 pm.
