Wilkes-Barre, PA (September 17, 2014 – Senior Julie Blessing had a match-high 10 kills and hit .471 leading the DeSales University volleyball team past King's College, 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-17), as the Bulldogs open the Freedom Conference schedule with a road win.
 
DSU had 12 kills in each of the three sets and hit .261 as a team to earn the win.  Five different players had five or more kills in the win including freshman Sienna Heist and freshman Logan Wieziolowski with seven each, senior Chrissy Banos with six, and senior Brooke Horrigan with five.
 
Senior Amanda Wallitsch led the way with 13 digs and sophomore Lisa Wallitsch finished with 33 assists in the victory.  L. Wallitsch and Banos each had two blocks, while sophomore Laura Greenberg and freshman Bernadette Wood had two aces each.
 
The Bulldogs are off this weekend and return to action next week hosting Manhattanville College on Tuesday in Billera Hall beginning at 7:00 pm.
