Glenside, PA (September 7, 2014) – Despite out-shooting and controlling play for most of the game a late second-half goal by Juniata College was enough as the DeSales University women's soccer team was blanked, 1-0, in the consolation game of the Arcadia Fall Classic on Sunday afternoon.
 
The Bulldogs owned a 17-7 edge in shots and took the only four corner kicks of the game but Juniata was the only team able to find the back of the net as Olivia Claycomb scored unassisted in the 75^th minute to give JC the win.
 
Senior Michelle Churchman and the Bulldogs defense was once again solid as Churchman made three saves in the loss.
 
DeSales returns to action on Thursday as they host Cairn University in its first home game of the season beginning at 4:00 pm.
