Wilkes-Barre, PA (October 14, 2015) – Head coach Michele Zabinski became the all-time leader in wins in DeSales University volleyball history as the Bulldogs rolled past Wilkes University, 3-0, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening at the Marts Center.
 
Zabinski now has 199 career wins, surpassing Hall of Famer John Gump who totaled 198 wins in his eight seasons with the Bulldogs.  Zabinski is now 199-146 and just one win shy of becoming the fifth coach in DeSales history in any sport to win 200+ career games.
 
The Bulldogs (16-9, 4-1 MAC Freedom) cruised on Wednesday night topping the Colonels (11-14, 1-4 MAC Freedom) by scores of 25-15, 25-14, 25-14.
 
Leading the attack was freshman Taylor Antoniewicz with 10 kills on just 16 attempts for a .625 hitting percentage.  Fellow freshman Gabby Savite' added nine kills, while sophomore Logan Wieziolowski, junior Jess Swanson, and senior Kait Anderson each had six kills in the win.
 
Junior Lisa Wallitsch finished with 36 assists, two aces, and eight digs and freshman Natalie Gray tallied 22 digs in the win.
 
The Bulldogs are off this weekend and will return to action on Tuesday, October 20^th when they host Misericordia University in another MAC Freedom game beginning at 7:00 pm.
