Bulldogs Fall to Misericordia

Center Valley, PA (October 17, 2015) – The DeSales University field hockey team fell to MAC Freedom foe Misericordia University, 5-0, on a windy Saturday afternoon.
 
MU (5-9, 2-2 MAC Freedom) scored twice in the first-half and added three more goals in the second-half en route to the win.  The Cougars outshot the Bulldogs (3-12, 0-4 MAC Freedom), 20-11, and had an 11-6 advantage in penalty corners in the game.
 
Freshman Savanna Lacek made six stops in goal and senior Meryah Harding posted six of DSU's 11 shots in the game.
 
The Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Manhattanville College for another MAC Freedom game beginning at 4:00 pm.
