Liam Hulse scored his first career goal in the 82
nd minute helping the DeSales University men's soccer team earn a 1-1 double overtime tie at #8 Eastern University in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.
EU (12-0-2, 3-0-1 MAC Freedom) took an early 1-0 lead as
Jadon Ramsing scored just 3:41 into the game but that score remained into the half despite a 15-1 shots advantage in the first-half.
DSU (5-8-2, 0-2-2 MAC Freedom) put more pressure on the Eagles in the second-half and broke thru at 81:29. Sophomore
Dan Sulpizio sent a free kick into the box that was cleared away but Hulse was in position to volley the clear back into the box as his kick bounced once and kicked off the post and into the net tying the game from about 40 yards out.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net in either overtime period. Sulpizio was sensational in goal stopping 14 shots as the Eagles held a healthy advantage in shots for the game, 30-7, and a slim 5-4 edge in corner kicks.

th hosting Delaware Valley University in another MAC Freedom game beginning at 3:00 pm.
