Bulldogs Swept at MAC Crossover

St. David's, PA (October 3, 2015) – The DeSales University volleyball team suffered two losses on Saturday at the MAC Crossover falling to Stevenson University, 3-0, and Lebanon Valley College, 3-1, hosted at Eastern University.
 
Match #1 (Lost 3-0 – 25-12, 25-23, 25-19)
Freshman Gabby Savite` and junior Jess Swanson each had seven kills to lead the Bulldogs (11-8) in the loss. Junior Lisa Wallitsch finished with 24 assists and seven digs and freshman Natalie Gray led the defense with 14 digs.
 
Match #2 (Lost 3-1 – 25-22, 22-25, 25-17, 25-15)
Sophomore Logan Wieziolowski totaled a team-high 13 kills and added three blocks to lead DeSales.  Savite` finished with 11 kills and 12 digs and Swanson added seven more kills.
 
Wallitsch finished with 35 assists and four aces and Gray totaled three aces and 17 digs.
 
DeSales returns to action on Tuesday when they host Delaware Valley University in a MAC Freedom contest beginning at 7:00 pm.
