Center Valley, PA (October 6, 2015) – The DeSales University volleyball team recorded its 13
th straight win over Delaware Valley University, 3-0 (25-10, 25-9, 25-7), in MAC Freedom action on Tuesday evening in Billera Hall.
The Bulldogs (12-8, 3-1 MAC Freedom) hit .430 for the match and recorded 11 service aces in the win as they move into a three-way tie for second place in the MAC Freedom with FDU-Florham and Misericordia University.
Sophomore
Logan Wieziolowski led the attack with 11 kills and a .562 hitting percentage. Freshman
Taylor Antoniewicz finished with four kills on just eight attacks and senior
Kait Anderson and junior
Jess Swanson combined for eight kills (four each) on 15 total attacks. Freshman
Julia DePuyt also played well totaling six kills off the bench.
Junior
Lisa Wallitsch finished with 34 assists and two aces, while freshman
Natalie Gray added 10 digs and two aces. Senior
Laura Greenberg and freshman
Gabby Savite` each had three service aces.
The Bulldogs return to action this weekend when they travel to the Worthington Classic at Gallaudet University on Friday and Saturday.
