Bethlehem, PA (October 6, 2015) – Junior Rachel Shive scored the lone goal of the game in the 56^th minute as the DeSales University women's soccer team recorded its second straight shutout with a 1-0 win over local rival Moravian College on Tuesday afternoon.
 
After each team totaled three shots in a scoreless first-half the Bulldogs (7-4) broke thru on the scoreboard as junior Eve Barna found fellow junior Rachel Shive on a long pass up the left sideline.  Shive was all alone and took a few dribbles before beating the Greyhound keeper inside the far post for her eighth goal of the season.
 
Junior Emily Hoats and the DeSales defense did the rest limiting Moravian (2-7-1) to just two shots on goal as Hoats recorded her second shutout of the season and the sixth of the season for the Bulldogs as a team.
 
The Bulldogs are back in action this weekend when they return home to host FDU-Florham in a MAC Freedom game set to begin at 3:00 pm.
