Rachel Shive scored the lone goal of the game in the 56
th minute as the DeSales University women's soccer team recorded its second straight shutout with a 1-0 win over local rival Moravian College on Tuesday afternoon.
After each team totaled three shots in a scoreless first-half the Bulldogs (7-4) broke thru on the scoreboard as junior

Rachel Shive on a long pass up the left sideline. Shive was all alone and took a few dribbles before beating the Greyhound keeper inside the far post for her eighth goal of the season.

Emily Hoats and the DeSales defense did the rest limiting Moravian (2-7-1) to just two shots on goal as Hoats recorded her second shutout of the season and the sixth of the season for the Bulldogs as a team.
The Bulldogs are back in action this weekend when they return home to host FDU-Florham in a MAC Freedom game set to begin at 3:00 pm.
