Center Valley, PA (February 24, 2015) – The DeSales University women's basketball opens its 18
th straight trip to the Freedom Conference Tournament in exactly the same place as last year, traveling to Eastern University as the third seed to take on the second seeded Eagles beginning at 7:00 pm.
The Bulldogs have never missed the Freedom Conference post-season since joining the conference at the start of the 1997-98 season. Last year DSU upset Eastern in the semifinal match-up before losing to FDU-Florham in the Freedom Conference title game.
Game time is set for 7:00 pm and admission for the event will be $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for senior citizens, and $2.00 for students w/ID. All children under the age of six are FREE.

DeSales/Eastern Series:DeSales owns a 24-8 lead in the all-time series between the two teams. EU swept the season series this season including a 73-61 win this past Saturday in Billera Hall. These two have met just once in the Freedom Conference post-season, a 73-54 win in last year's semifinals. DSU is 9-6 all-time on the road at Eastern.

Game Two at DeSales (EU – 73-61) - BOX SCOREThe Bulldogs controlled nearly the entire first-half leading by as many as seven points and holding a 34-31 lead at the break. Eastern used a 20-2 run over a span of 6:25 turning a four-point deficit into a 12-point lead (59-47) with 9:15 left. DSU pulled to within four points with 5:15 remaining but never got any closer.
