Allentown, PA (March 21, 2015) – Gwynedd-Mercy out-scored the DeSales University men's lacrosse team, 12-1, over the second and third quarters, earning a 15-6 win over the Bulldogs in non-conference action on Saturday evening.
 
DSU (2-4 overall) played a terrific first quarter, opening up a 4-2 lead after one period thanks to three goals from senior Ryan Rowse but the Griffins took control after that.
 
GMC (6-2 overall) out-scored DSU, 6-1 in the second quarter to take an 8-5 lead into the half and scored six more goals in the third quarter, taking a 14-5 lead into the fourth quarter before the final margin was posted.
 
Rowse finished the game with four goals and fellow senior Lance Bracale had three assists to lead the offensive attack.  Senior Nate Blevins scored twice and senior Bruce Peditto and freshman Joe Neggia each had assists in the loss.
 
Senior Dylan Baxter won 9-of-18 face-offs, while sophomore Tyle Davis and junior Tim Barry each had a team-high seven ground balls.
 
The Bulldogs are scheduled to return to action on Wednesday, March 25^th when they host Kean University beginning at 4:00 pm.
