Kean scored twice in the bottom of the third inning taking advantage of three Bulldog errors to play two unearned runs to take a 2-0 lead but DeSales had a chance to do some damage in the top of the fourth. DSU loaded the bases on a walk, hit by pitch, and Kean error. After a strikeout with the bases loaded by sophomore
Tommy DePaul, junior
Carlos Urena forced home a run with a walk, but freshman
Conner Lafferty struck out looking to end the threat.
Kean got the run back in the fourth inning to take a 3-1 lead before junior
