Men’s Lacrosse Drops 11-4 Decision to St. John Fisher

Clearwater, FL (March 5, 2015) – St. John Fisher College scored the first six goals of the game and never looked back in an 11-4 win over the DeSales University men's lacrosse team on Thursday afternoon in Clearwater, FL.

The Bulldogs (1-2) did pull to within 6-2 late in the second quarter and appeared to have some momentum heading into the half but SJF (2-0) scored with nine seconds left in the half and added the first three goals of the second-half to take a 10-2 lead before the final margin was posted.

Seniors Lance Bracale, Ryan Loughlin, and Bruce Peditto each scored goals as did freshman Josh Harman.  Harman, Bracale, and sophomore Tyler Newman also added assists in the loss.

Senior Dylan Baxter won six face-offs and had a team-high four ground balls and sophomore Austin Colish had a team-high two caused turnovers.  Junior Matt Warnken made six saves and sophomore Tyler Ornstein made two stops in the fourth quarter.

The Bulldogs return home and will get back to action on March 10th when they travel to Wesley College for a non-conference game beginning at 4:00 pm.
