Moosic, PA (April 18, 2015) – The DeSales University baseball team scored a solo run in the bottom of the seventh inning breaking a tie at four and the Bulldog bullpen did the rest as DSU opened its three-game set with King's College with a 5-4 win at PNC Park in Moosic, PA.
 The Bulldogs (15-12, 10-2 Freedom) fell behind early as King's (5-16, 1-10 Freedom) plated two runs to open the game on a deep sacrifice fly that scored two runners. 
DSU wasted no time answering as sophomore 
Tommy DePaul singled, scored on a triple from freshman 
Hunter Hart who then scored on a double from senior 
Drew Borger to tie the game at two in the first inning. 
DeSales added another run in the second and third inning to take a 4-2 lead as freshman 
Konner Schneider singled and came around to score two batters later on a Monarch error and sophomore 
Mike Kacergis singled and scored on a double play in the third inning. 
King's tied the game in the fourth inning when Stephen Brynok hit a two-run home run and the game remained tied at four entering the bottom of the seventh inning. 
Hart drew a walk to lead off that inning and moved to second on a sacrifice bunt from Borger.  Kacergis singled putting runners at the corners and Hart scampered home on a fielder's choice ground out from junior 
Colby Kulig. 
The Bulldog bullpen did the rest four guys combined to pitch five scoreless innings in relief of sophomore 
Cameron Hoos who last four innings allowing four runs and striking out six.  Senior 
Eric Elmer earned the win pitching a scoreless seventh inning and junior 
Evan Fraser earned his sixth save of the season pitching a perfect ninth inning. 
The Bulldogs return to the diamond tomorrow hosting King's College in a Freedom Conference doubleheader beginning at 1:00 pm.
