St. David's, PA (October 1, 2016) - The DeSales University field hockey team suffered another MAC Freedom loss falling at Eastern University, 2-0, on Saturday morning.

Eastern (3-6, 1-1 MAC Freedom) opened the scoring at 24:24 and got its insurance goal with just 2:45 left to play to post the final tally.  EU outshot DeSales (3-8, 0-2 MAC Freedom), 24-3 for the game and had a 27-3 advantage in penalty corners.

Freshman Katarina Polyviou made seven saves for the Bulldogs in the loss.

DeSales will look to get back into the win column on Wednesday when they host Drew University in a non-conference game beginning at 7:00 pm.
