Madison, NJ (October 5, 2016) - The DeSales University field hockey team snapped a four-game skid earning a 2-1 win over Drew University in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.
The Bulldogs (4-8) opened the scoring when sophomore
Chelsea DeFrancisco scored unassisted taking control of clear attempt just inside circle and firing a shot into the cage.
Drew (2-7) tied the game at one in the 24th minute but DSU regained the lead with just 3:09 left on the first-half clock when juniorÂ

The DeSales defense did the rest holding the Rangers at bay to earn the one-goal win.  DSU finished the contest witha  7-5 shot advantage and added a 6-2 edge in penalty corners.

The Bulldogs are back in action on Saturday when they return to MAC Freedom action hosting Delaware Valley University at 2:00 pm.
