Madison, NJ (October 1, 2016) - The DeSales University women's soccer team scored two goals over the final 11:09 of the game to erase a 2-1 deficit and earn a 3-2 win at FDU-Florham in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (5-6, 1-0 MAC Freedom) open the conference season snapping a five-game losing streak with the win. Â DSU got on the board first when juniorÂ

Angelica Bertola touched a pass to McPeak for a shot just 2:01 into the game.
FDU (4-5-3, 0-1 MAC Freedom) tied the game in the 37th minute on an OWN goal when a corner kick feed went off a Bulldog defender trying to clear it and into the net as the game went into the half tied at one.
The Devil's took a 2-1 lead in the 60th minute when again a DeSales defender made a mistake in the box committing a hand ball that led toÂ
Brittni Calleo scoring a penalty kick.
The Bulldogs got a gift of their own in the 79th minute when a pass into the box was deflected into the net by a Devil defender giving the Bulldogs an OWN goal and tying the game at two.
The game seemed headed for OT with just over a minute left when seniorÂ
Jess Wetherhold sent a corner feed into the box where juniorÂ
Rachel Logue headed the feed to the back post and Bertola was there to clean up the header for the eventual game-winner.
DSU dominated play holding a 22-8 advantage in shots and a 3-2 edge in corner kicks. Â SophomoreÂ
