Center Valley, PA (October 12, 2016) - The DeSales University volleyball team rolled past Wilkes University, 3-0 (25-21, 25-14, 25-10), to stay in sole possession of second place in the MAC Freedom on Wednesday evening in Billera Hall.
DSU (14-8, 4-1 MAC Freedom) is the only one loss team in the MAC Freedom with the win with two games left in the regular season (vs. Manhattanville and @ King's). Â One more win clinches a MAC Freedom Tournament berth and two secures no worse than the #2 seed and a semifinal home match in the post-season tournament.

Gabby Savite`Â led the Bulldogs with 17 kills and a .308 hitting percentage, while middle hitters sophomoreÂ
Taylor Antoniewicz and freshmanÂ
Morghan Shoemaker combined for 17 kills and just one error to go along with two blocks each in the win.  Shoemaker hit .643, while Antoniewicz smashed at a .438 clip.

Lisa Wallitsch handed out 39 assists giving her 3,754 in her career and inching her closer to becoming the all-time leader at DeSales.  SophomoreÂ
Natalie Gray led the defense with 16 digs, while sophomoreÂ

Cristal Fernandez each had 11 digs.
The Bulldogs return to action this weekend when they travel to the RIT Invitational on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
