Field Hockey Falls at Misericordia, 4-0

Dallas, PA (October 22, 2016) - The DeSales University field hockey team fell at Misericordia University, 4-0, in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

The Cougars took a 1-0 lead in the first-half and extending the margin to 4-0 with three goals in the second-half.

MU (4-12, 2-4 MAC Freedom) out-shot DeSales (6-11, 1-5 MAC Freedom), 13-7, for the game as each team attempted 10 penalty corners.

Senior Alexa Beaumont made the start in goal once again making five saves. Senior Nicola McDermott had a team-high two shots on goal.

The Bulldogs wrap-up their 2016 season on Thursday when they travel to King's College for the final MAC Freedom game of the year beginning at 7:00 pm.
