Wilkes-Barre, PA (October 26, 2016) - The DeSales University volleyball team won its 20th match of the season rolling past King's College, 3-1 (25-20, 15-20, 25-10, 25-14), in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening.

Michele Zabinski's 12 year career 20+ win season with the victory.  The Bulldogs finish the MAC Freedom regular season alone in second place with a 6-1 mark and will host the #3 seed, Manhattanville College, who defeated FDU-Florham, 3-0, on Wednesday to clinch the third spot, in the MAC Freedom Tournament semifinals next Wednesday in Billera Hall beginning at 7:00 pm.

Morghan Shoemaker led the attack with a team-high tying 12 kills, hitting .458 for the match, while sophomoreÂ
Gabby Savite`Â added 12 kills, 11 digs, and four blocks in the win. Â FreshmanÂ
Jenna Sievert finished with nine kills and six blocks.
SeniorÂ
Lisa Wallitsch tallied 37 assists, six aces, and 12 digs, while sophomoreÂ
Natalie Gray (15 digs) and juniorÂ
Bernadette Wood (10 digs) led the defense.
The Bulldogs finish up their regular season schedule this weekend travel to Stockton University for a tri-match with Stockton and Neumann on Saturday.
