Dallas, PA (October 4, 2016) - The DeSales University volleyball team swept Misericordia University, 3-0 (25-13, 25-19, 25-21), in a MAC Freedom match on Tuesday evening to stay in sole possession of second place.
The win is DSU's seventh straight over the Cougars (6-14, 1-3 MAC Freedom) and moves DeSales to 18-1 all-time vs. Misericordia. Â The Bulldogs hit .268 for the match and had 10 service aces.

Gabby Savite`Â finished with a team-high 10 kills and hit .346, adding five aces and 21 digs in the win. Â FreshmanÂ
Morghan Shoemaker added nine kills and hit .269.  SeniorÂ

Lisa Wallitsch totaled six kills, 31 assists, two aces, and 12 digs and sophomoreÂ
Natalie Gray was fantastic defensively totaling 23 digs.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Haverford College for a non-conference match beginning at 7:00 pm.
