Haverford, PA (October 6, 2016) - The DeSales University volleyball rallied down 2-1 to earn a 3-2 five-set win at Haverford College in a non-conference match on Thursday evening.
After the Bulldogs (13-8) squandered a 23-20 lead in the third set, falling 27-25, DSU rallied to commit just three total hitting errors over the final two sets, winning 25-16 in the fourth, and 15-11 in the fifth to earn the 3-2 win. Â DSU hit .204 for the match including a .349 percentage in the fourth set and .238 in the fifth.

Jenna Sievert led the hitting with 12 kills and no errors for a .480 hitting percentage.  Fellow freshmanÂ
Morghan Shoemaker finished with 15 kills and hit .273 and sophomoreÂ
Gabby Savite`Â had 19 kills in the win. Â SophomoreÂ
Taylor Antoniewicz finished with seven kills and four blocks.

Lisa Wallitsch dished out 51 assists and two aces.  SophomoreÂ
Natalie Gray totaled a team-high 27 digs and Savite' added 26 digs.  FreshmanÂ

Tanesia Rehrig also played well with 16 and 15 digs in the back line.
The Bulldogs are back in action next Wednesday when they host Wilkes University in a MAC Freedom match set to begin at 7:00 pm.
