Center Valley, PA (October 4, 2016) - The DeSales University women's tennis team won its third straight match besting PSU-Brandywine, 9-0, in a non-conference match on Tuesday afternoon.
DSU (3-1) opened the match losing just two games in the three doubles matches. Â JuniorÂ

Sarah Lightner to win 8-1 at the No. 1 spot, seniorÂ
Melissa Tucker teamed with freshmanÂ
Amber Achenbach to win 8-1 at the No. 2 spot, and freshmanÂ
Sarah Chan teamed with seniorÂ
Shannon O'Malley to win 8-0 at the No. 3 spot.
Nguyen won 6-1, 6-1 at the top singles position, Lightner earned a 6-0, 6-3 win at the No. 2 spot, and Tucker won 6-4, 6-2 at the No. 3 spot. Â O'Malley won a hard fought first set, 7-6 (7-3), before cruising in the second set, 6-0, at the No. 4 spot, Achenbach lost just one game (6-0, 6-1) at the No. 5 spot, and Chan won 6-0, 7-5 at the No. 6 spot.
The Bulldogs are right back to action on Thursday when they host Albright College in a non-conference match beginning at 3:30 pm.
