Center Valley, PA (December 19, 2016) - Twelve different players scored as the DeSales University men's basketball team returned to action for the first time in nine days rolling past Penn State Harrisburg, 91-56, in non-conference action on Monday evening in Billera Hall.

Connor Jones led all scorers with 16 points off the bench and seniorÂ
Kuity Slanger added 15 points in the win as the lone double digit scorers for the Bulldogs.  JuniorÂ
James Smith finished with a game-high five assists and seniorÂ
Ryan Callahan had a team-high seven rebounds.  DSU shot 50.0 percent for the game and canned 26-for-31 (83.9%) from the charity stripe.  DeSales got 53 points from its bench and scored 25 points off 22 Nittany Lion (4-5) turnovers.
Harrisburg was led byÂ
Ryan Bollinger who had 12 points off the bench as the lone double digit scorer.
DeSales never trailed in this one as the final outcome was never in doubt with the Bulldogs scoring the first 13 points of the game. Â The lead never fell below double digits after DSU led 10-0 and peaked as high as 38 points just before the final buzzer. DeSales led by 24 points at the break.
The Bulldogs are now off for 10 days for the Christmas holidays and will return to game action on December 29th when they take on St. Joseph's College (Brooklyn) on day one of the Al Senavitis Memorial Holiday Tournament in Billera Hall beginning at 6:00 pm.
