Glenside, PA (September 15, 2016) - The DeSales University erased a 1-0 halftime deficit scoring twice in the second-half to earn a 2-1 win over Arcadia University in non-conference action on Thursday evening.
The Bulldogs (2-4) fell behind when AU (0-6) scored 22+ minutes into the game and out-shot DSU, 5-2, in the first half.
DeSales played a terrific second-half out-shooting Arcadia, 8-6, in the second-half and held a 10-7 advantage in penalty corners over the final 35 minutes.

Kylie Honnick-Payne tied the game at one at the 51:39 mark tipping in a shot from the top of the circle from fellow freshmanÂ

Just six minutes later sophomoreÂ
Chelsea DeFrancisco gave DSU the lead for good scoring the eventual game-winner off an assist from juniorÂ
Kelly Meade.

Katarina Polyviou made four saves in between the pipes for the Bulldogs.
DSU is right back to action on Saturday when they travel to William Paterson University with start time set for 1:00 pm.
