Selinsgrove, PA (September 28, 2016) - The DeSales University field hockey surrendered three second-half goals falling at Susquehanna University, 3-0, in a non-conference game on Wednesday evening.

After a scoreless first-half the Crusaders (6-2) got on the board 11:29 into the second-half and added two insurance goals late in the 60th and 62nd minute to earn the three goal win.

SU had a 21-7 advantage in shots and a 15-5 edge in penalty corners.  Freshman Katarina Polyviou made nine saves in the cage, while juniors Kelly Meade and Autumn Klucsarits each had two defensive saves in the loss.

The Bulldogs are back at it on Saturday when they travel to Eastern University for another MAC Freedom game beginning at 11:00 am.
