Center Valley, PA (September 3, 2016) - The DeSales University field hockey team fell at Gettysburg College, 9-1, in a non-conference game on Saturday afternoon.

Gettysburg (1-0) scored three goals in the first 12 minutes and never looked back from there.  The Bullets finished with a 29-8 advantage in shots and a 15-5 lead in penalty corners. DeSales (1-0) scored its lone goal in the 65th minute off the stick of freshman Kylie Honnick-Payne to avoid the shutout.

The Bulldogs will look to get back on track on Wednesday, September 7th when they host Albright College in a non-conference game beginning at 4:00 pm.
