The Bulldogs (9-6, 3-2 MAC Freedom) are now in a three-way tie for third place with two games remaining in the MAC Freedom schedule hosting both Misericordia and King's College to finish the regular season. There are several scenarios that still exist but wins in each of the last two games assures DSU of earning a spot in the MAC Freedom Tournament.
DSU never trailed in the win on Wednesday as Hansen gave DSU a 1-0 lead 5:32 into the game when her shot off a pass from sophomore teammate
Kylie Honnick-Payne (Johnson City, NY) went right thru the goalie's five hole for a 1-0 Bulldog lead.
MVC tied the score in 23rd minute and the game remained tied into the half.
The Bulldogs took a 2-1 lead just over two minutes into the second half when senior

Once again the Valiants had the answer scoring at 52:29 to tie the score.
DSU had a large advantage late in the game as Manhattanville was whistled for three yellow cards and had to play much of the final five minutes as many as three players down and DeSales took advantage peppering the Valiant cage.
The Bulldogs eventually broke thru with 49 seconds left as Honnick-Payne touched a pass to Hansen who re-directed a shot high over the GK's head and into the corner of the net for the eventual game-winner.
DeSales out-shot Manhattanville, 21-13 for the game and dominated penalty corners with a 15-4 advantage.
