Wilkes-Barre, PA (October 21, 2017) - Sophomores Ahmad Kanan and Ben Greb each advanced to day two of the MAC Individual Tournament after play on Saturday.

#1 Singles
Freshman Danny Lynn (Bethlehem, PA) earned a 6-2, 6-1 win over Ryan Hamilton of Eastern University in the opening round before falling to the top seed, Courtney Murphy of Wilkes University, 6-1, 6-2 in the quarterfinals.

#2 Singles
Junior Jorey Ferraro (Nazareth, PA) won 6-0, 6-0 in the opening round over Jason Curtis of Misericordia University but fell in the quarterfinals, 6-1, 6-0 to the third third seed Connor Graybeal of Messiah College.

#3 Singles
Freshman Dominic Ferraro (Nazareth, PA) dropped his first round match falling to Jordan Heavel of Lebanon Valley College, 6-2, 6-1.

#4 Singles
Greb lost in the opening round of singles play falling to the fourth seed Luke Senft of Lebanon Valley College, 6-2, 6-1.

#5 Singles
Junior Josh Ferraro (Nazareth, PA) won 6-0, 6-3 over Spencer Pedersen of Lycoming College in the opening round but fell in the quarterfinals to third seeded Austin Mackey of King's College, 7-6 (7-5), 6-1.

#6 Singles
Kanan won two matches to advance to the semifinals on Sunday winning 6-3, 7-5 in the first round over Sam Miller of Lebanon Valley College and 6-4, 6-2 in the quarterfinals over the #4 seed, Cameron Tuck of King's College.

#7 Singles
Freshman John Karaban (Telford, PA) lost in the opening round to Jason Homschek, 6-2, 6-1.

#1 Doubles
Lynn and Jor. Ferraro fell in the opening round, 8-1, to the #4 seed, Carl/Millan of King's College.

#2 Doubles
D. Ferraro/Jos. Ferraro won their first round match, 8-2, over Lundy/Phan of Lycoming College but fell in the quarterfinals, 8-0 to the third seed Kiblin/Ryan of Stevenson University.

#3 Doubles
Senior Brian Hayhurst (Millville, NJ) teamed with Karaban but fell in the opening round to the fourth seeded Zinzer/Hanak of Arcadia University, 8-2.

#4 Doubles
Kanan/Greb earned a quarterfinal win over Boettger/Fitzwater of Messiah College, 8-3, to advance to the semifinals.
