St. David's, PA (October 28, 2017) - The DeSales University men's soccer team lost for the first time in 17 games falling at Eastern University, 1-0, in MAC Freedom action to drop down to the #3 seed in next week's MAC Freedom postseason tournament on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (12-2-4, 4-1-2 MAC Freedom) suffered its first loss since the first game of the season at PSU-Behrend. DSU needed a win or a tie to clinch the top seed and home field advantage in next week's postseason tournament. DeSales is now the #3 seed and will travel to the #2 seed King's College for the semifinal matchup on Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
