Chester, PA (March 25, 2017) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse fell behind early and never recovered falling at Widener University, 12-5, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.
Widener (3-4) scored the first six goals of the game and eight of the first nine to take an 8-1 lead and the Bulldogs never recovered in the non-conference loss.
The Pride won 15-of-20 face-offs in the win and out-shot DeSales (2-4), 43-30.

Jake Zito had three ground balls and three caused turnovers and freshman
Frank Krug led the charge with six ground balls.  SophomoreÂ
Matt Barry finished with 11 saves in the loss.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday when they host Centenary University under the lights at 7:00 pm.
