Titusville, FL (March 6, 2017) - St. John Fisher broke open a 1-1 tie with four runs in the sixth inning en route to a 9-3 win over the DeSales University baseball team on Monday afternoon in the second game of the Bulldogs spring trip to Florida.
After SJF (3-1) took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning, DeSales (1-5) tied the game on a throwing error by the Fisher catcher scoring senior 
Danny Licamara.
The Bulldogs were one out away from ending the sixth tied at one when St. John Fisher got three two-out hits plating four runs and taking a 5-1 lead.  SJF got one more in the seventh inning before DSU got two back in the top of the eighth on RBI singles from junior 
Konner Schneider and senior 
Richie Lancashire. St. John Fisher answered putting the game away with three tallies in the bottom of the eighth.
DeSales had nine hits led by two from sophomore 
Tommy Epsaro.  Junior 
Adam Donovan pitched well into the sixth inning allowing six hits and five runs over 5 2/3 innings of work.
The Bulldogs will look to break its streak tomorrow when they take on Eastern Mennonite University beginning at 3:30 pm.
