Hilton Head, SC (March 8, 2017) - The DeSales University women's tennis team continued its winning ways, recording its seventh straight win, 9-0, over Defiance College on Wednesday afternoon.
DSU (7-1) opened doubles play with an 8-1, 8-3, and 8-0 win at No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3 doubles. Â JuniorÂ

Amber Achenbach at the No. 1 spot, seniorÂ
Lindsay Driscoll and freshmanÂ
Sarah Lightner paired together at the No. 2 spot, and freshmanÂ
Sarah Chan and seniorÂ
Melissa Tucker recorded the win at the No. 3 doubles position.
Nguyen was a 6-2, 6-2 winner at No. 1 singles, Lightner was victorious at the No. 2 spot, 6-1, 6-1, and seniorÂ
Shannon O'Malley won 6-3, 6-1 in the No. 3 position.  At the No. 4 spot, Tucker won 6-0, 6-0, Chan earned a 6-0, 6-0 win in the No. 5 position, and freshmanÂ
Kelsey Kazlauskas earned a 6-0, 6-2 win in the No. 6 singles spot.
The Bulldogs wrap-up their trip down south tomorrow when they take on Heidelberg University.
