Center Valley, PA (April 11, 2017) - The DeSales University softball dropped both ends of a doubleheader with #11 Moravian College on Tuesday afternoon by scores of 5-0 and 8-0 in non-conference action.

Josie Novak allowed just one hit over seven innings, striking out 11 and the Greyhounds broke open a scoreless tie in the fourth inning with one run and tacked on three more in the fifth to take a 4-0 lead and never looked back from there.

Hailey Warner pitched well despite suffering the loss allowing just six hits and two earned runs over five innings, striking out eight Greyhounds.  SophomoreÂ
Carly Benjamin had DSU's lone hit in game one.
Game Two (L/8-0)
Moravian scored twice in the second and three times in both the third and fourth to earn the 8-0, five inning win. Â DSU had three hits, all singles by Benjamin, sophomoreÂ

Andrea Artesani took the loss allowing five runs over two innings pitched.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Thursday when they travel to Eastern University for a MAC Freedom doubleheader beginning at 3:00 pm.
