Bryn Athyn, PA (April 11, 2017) - The DeSales University women's tennis extended its school-record winning streak to 13-straight with a 9-0 win over Bryn Athyn College in non-conference action on Tuesday afternoon.

The Bulldogs lost just seven games over three doubles and singles matches.

In doubles action freshman Sarah Lightner paired with freshman Amber Achenbach to win 8-1 in the No. 1 spot, senior Lindsay Driscoll teamed with freshman Kelsey Kazlauskas to win 8-0 in the No. 2 hole, and freshman Amanda Becker and senior Shannon O'Malley won 8-0 in the No. 3 spot.

In singles action junior Kelly Nguyen won 8-1 in the No. 1 spot, Lightner was an 8-2 winner in the No. 2 spot, and Achenbach won 8-0 in the No. 3 spot.  O'Malley won 8-1 in the No. 4 position, senior Melissa Tucker won 8-2 in the No. 5 spot, and freshman Sarah Chan won 8-0 in the No. 6 position.

The Bulldogs are right back to the court tomorrow hosting MAC Freedom foe FDU-Florham with start time set for 3:00 pm.
