Center Valley, PA (April 12, 2017) - The DeSales University women's tennis team extended its winning streak to 14 matches with a 7-2 win over FDU-Florham and in the process inched very close to clinching a spot in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (14-1 overall) are now 3-0 in the MAC Freedom and need just one more win or another Devil loss and King's College loss to clinch a spot in the postseason tournament.

Sophia Chen won at the No. 1 position, 8-0, and freshmanÂ
Sarah Chan and seniorÂ
Lindsay Driscoll won in the No. 3 spot, 8-3.
In singles action Nguyen was a 6-0, 6-1 winner in the No. 1 spot, freshmanÂ
Sarah Lightner was a 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (10-8) winner in the No. 2 position, and freshmanÂ
Amber Achenbach was a 6-1, 6-0 winner in the No. 3 hole.  SeniorsÂ
Shannon O'Malley andÂ
Melissa Tucker rounded out the winners with O'Malley winning 6-2, 6-1 in the No. 4 position and Tucker winning 6-3, 6-4 in the No. 5 spot.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Misericordia University in another MAC Freedom match.
