Center Valley, PA (April 13, 2017) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team suffered an 18-5 loss to Manhattanville College in MAC Freedom action on Thursday afternoon.
Manhattanville College (8-4, 2-1 MAC Freedom) scored the first six goals of the game and led 10-2 at the half and never looked back from there. Â MVC out-shot the Bulldogs (4-9. 0-3 MAC Freedom), 35-22, for the game, and had a 24-17 edge in ground balls. Â The Valiants also won 15-of-25 draw controls for the game.

Katie Kingsland, freshmanÂ
Katarina Polyviou, and juniorÂ
Kelly Meade. Â SophomoreÂ
Sydney Kane, sophomoreÂ
Amanda Foley, and juniorÂ
Danielle Burke all had assists in the loss.
Meade and Kingsland each had a team-high three ground balls and Foley finished with a team-best three caused turnovers. Â SophomoreÂ
Lori King made eight saves in the loss.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Wednesday, April 19th when they travel to Wilkes University for another MAC Freedom matchup set to begin at 4:00 pm.
